Unreasonable delete
« on: October 18, 2019, 12:11:24 pm »
I have tried not to say anything until this point, but it has became ridiculous. It has became obvious that someone with the "power" to delete has been targeting everything I post. I meant EVERYTHING! If you have something to tell me, just say it to my face, please.

Take this picture, it has been deleted for "nudity".

Can that person have the courage to come out and tell me where the nudity is?

This has gone on for several months.

I mean, I don't think I could look at that picture and say "Nope, definitely no way this lady in this picture is nude."

FWIW the image was deleted based off of an image report, which is often how we come across borderline cases. No one is targeting you specifically. You're just not seeing the other dozens of pictures we delete per day.

Hi Chainer,

I try my best not to be a trouble maker. All the years I've been here, you know that I am always courteous and supportive toward the site admin. I consulted you when unsure, for example, about posting copyrighted pic inside the forum. I categorically do not wish to be argumentative and waste everyone's time. However, let me point out that I do not see how my picture violates the norms. For example, this is one picture that you yourself favorited:

The model in this picture is even more "nude" than in my pic.

I was probably wrong to jump to conclusion, in which case I apologize. I just felt that the given reasons, like in this case, are not very convincing. And when that happened repeatedly, and unfailingly, then it is kinda hard not to lose your coolness.

Also - not that it is a very important thing, but it is kinda of vanity thing for me, I confess - my pic was on its way to make it to the "highest scored today" list before it was deleted.

Yeah. I've been sniped. Someone has actively gone through my uploads specifically. It's not a good look when other pics of just plain Janes and copyrighted material are all over the site.

Normally, I wouldn't bother to throw my two bits in on this other than I was always skeptical of the "no nudity" restriction on uploaded pics. I mean there are a LOT of pics on the website that obviously show the person totally nude albeit they are not showing their privates, whether they're hidden by their pose, some object or blotted out via some photo-shopping. I have only come across a couple that I considered so distasteful that I would flag them but otherwise I just left it up to the mods to remove them should there be a specific complaint against that pic. Obviously some of the nude pictures are real works of photographic art vs. the cheap shot of some selfie. Ultimately it comes down to strictly enforcing a complete "no nudity" rule (highly improbable) or allowing leeway and having "tasteful nudity sans private areas". Tasteful being in the eyes of the beholder o.0

Our thinking behind the deletion of borderline pictures is explained in more detail here: https://forum.girlswithmuscle.com/index.php?topic=5436.0
